Drifting in Nostalgia

We created an engaging hype video designed to generate excitement and anticipation for client’s viewers. The objective was to capture the essence of the brand while paying homage to the nostalgic aesthetics of classic gaming, particularly the PlayStation 2 era. This unique approach aimed to set the stage for a memorable store opening.

The concept centered around two BMWs drifting across a stylized game board that visually represented the journey  the brand has gone in opening up  their 3 locations, lastly reaching thier new one. Inspired by pixelated graphics reminiscent of PS2 ,2000 era , we employed a combination of complex smoke simulation and retro-inspired animations to create an immersive, playful experience. The narrative was designed to evoke a sense of adventure and excitement, encouraging viewers to join in on the fun.

The final output was a visually striking video that perfectly blended nostalgia with modern CGI techniques. the hype film effectively showcased the brand’s personality and built anticipation for the store launch. With its energetic pacing, engaging visuals, and a catchy soundtrack, the video not only captured the attention of viewers but also successfully drove traffic to the new location.
